Several annual awards from the International Coral Reef Society (ICRS) include cash benefits that can be used to support attendance at the International Coral Reef Symposium 2026.
The Darwin Medal (due 15 December 2025) provides travel support for the recipient to deliver a keynote address.
The John Ogden Presidential Meeting Attendance Award (due 15 February 2026) offers funding for individuals from low-or middle-income nations to attend ICRS 2026.
Additional awards that may be used at the recipient’s discretion to offset costs of attending ICRS 2026 (all due 15 February 2026) include:
World Reef Award – $2,500
Coral Reef Conservation Award – $2,500
Science Communication Fellowship – $2,000
